October 14th
Yorkshire shot in the Northern Counties and AVA had a number of archers shooting & some success.
Danielle Brown has been out in Korea shooting to individual and team gold medals with world record scores

March 24th AGM
Dimitris Votsikas stepped down as Membership Secretary and Tim Gillett has taken over. Thanks to Dimitris for all his efforts over the years and good luck to Tim.
Samantha Baker has also joined the committee.
March 2007 Update on the Browns
October 29th Junior World Championships
In a 1 arrow shoot off to decide her semi-final against Doris Jones of Canada, Danielle hit an 8 whilst Doris Jones hit a 10. Doris Jones then went on to become the Gold medallist.
Danielle came 4th after Erika Anschutz pipped her 113 to104 in the Bronze medal decider.
August 20th European Paralympic Championships - Danielle Brown sets 3 World Records
Danielle took three world records for Paralympic archery – the FITA score, the 30m score and the team award
Danielle is now a GMB having set three qualifying scores at World Record status events.

July 9th Danielle Brown sets a new World Record
Danielle Brown set a new world record at the European Invitational Grand Prix at Stoke Mandeville 9th July 2006.
Danielle won both the Ranking round and the Head to head with a world record of 1242.
March 6th AGM
A record turnout for an AGM of 23 members!
The main details to report are that the option to provide additional shooting facilities at South Craven School was passed overwhelmingly. This also means an increase in subscription fees of £10 for adults and £5 for juniors.
Robert Powell was elected as Vice-Chair.
Duncan Brown was elected as Secretary.
Tracey McGowan was elected as Records Officer. (expect all score sheets to be purple from now on)
Thomas Powell was elected as Junior Representative.
Stephen Howard continues on the committee as a co-opted member.
All other committee members are unchanged.

Guy Jones came 2nd in the gents recurve
Longbow team consisting of Robert Powell, Michael Smith and Roger Grech came 1st.
Thomas Powell came first in the junior longbow class
Robert Powell came 1st in Longbow
Michael Smith came 3rd.
It was bitterly cold and very windy even before the pie and peas, but it was thoroughly enjoyed.
Everyone from Aire Valley went home with a medal.
